This isn't a class or whatever, it's a battle event like critical hits.
The idea is, if two of the same melee class battle (i.e. cavalier vs. cavalier, fighter vs. fighter, etc.) with one another, the two attack one another at the same time. This results in the loser being hit and his weapon totally breaking (even if the weapon has more uses left in it.) The loser would be decided by strength, dodging (so speed and luck), and weapon. (The weapon with less usages in it, breaks.)
And the winner does a regular attack. (Maybe the critical factor would be canceled in this situation?)
For mages and shamans and monks, they would do the same thing, but their books would burn or something.
The animation can be the regular kind, just with both sides moving at a time.
Damage calculation should happen at the same time.
